The Center for Biofilm Engineering (CBE) at Montana State University (MSU) has worked hard to develop many of the standard operating procedures used in biofilm laboratories around the world. Their Standardized Biofilm Methods Laboratory (SBML) has focused on perfecting and simplifying these methods for everyday use. To further assist teaching these methods, they have developed the following video series showing and explaining some of the most important ones, and continue to expand their library. Explore the videos below to see how these methods require some of our reactors, and learn how to use them in your own laboratory.
